The die-cut machine is a wonderful tool that cuts out shapes and letters making it possible to throw away the stencils and the scissors. It makes the jobs of making bulletin boards, scrap booking and party decorating much simpler and more fun. The patron using the machine must provide their own paper and abide by the following die-cutting policies.
Every user of the machine must have a valid card from a library.
Patrons under the age of 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Patrons must call ahead for availability of machine.
Use of the machine is limited to one (1) hour, or at the discretion of the librarians.
Only the person using the machine and the adult (if necessary), are to be in the room containing the cutting machine.
Patrons must furnish their own supplies.
The die-cutting machine or die cannot be removed from the building.
At the librarianís discretion, compatible die, not owned by the library, may be used in the cutting machine.
The Assumption Public Library District will NOT be responsible for accidents or injuries that occur by use of the cutting machine.
User agrees to pay replacement cost of any equipment damaged as a result of careless use.
